Gabriel is now two months old! His hair has started to grow back (not blond but that's okay). Gabie has recently discovered that he has vocal chords. He can't say any real words yet of course, but he sure likes to babble and make a lot of funny sounds!

Going Bald

Gabriel is one month old today! And all of his hair is falling out. Hopefully some more hair will grow in its place (I'm hoping it will be blonde hair!)

New Baby Gabriel

Gabriel was born on March 31st at 9:11 am. He shares a birthday with daddy! He weighed 8 lbs 2 oz and is a long little guy: 21 and 1/4 inches! I was induced the day before around noon and Gabriel took his sweet time coming out but overall it was a happy and relatively comfortable birth. Gabriel is very healthy and I am recovering just fine. Erik and I are still adjusting to having a baby in the house but we are loving every minute of being with Gabriel!

More Trees!

My in-laws came for a visit this weeks in hopes that the baby will be born, but baby has no plans to come out soon so it seems. In the meantime, we planted some more trees in the back yard...two palm trees and a pink lemon tree! We got them for only $20 each...so cheap! I really like the pink lemon tree because the leaves smell like lemon candy.

Baby Shower

I know this is a little late in posting but I figured I might as well do it now before baby comes and I NEVER get around to posting it.

My baby shower was Feb. 14th-Valentine's Day. It was put together by some girls in my ward and most of the guests were from our ward (I'm so lucky to have such a nice ward!). I think it was a pretty good turnout. If it weren't for the ward, I probably wouldn't even have had a baby shower because we don't really know anyone here in AZ.

I got a TON of gifts...mostly clothes. I got so many clothes that I had to take some back, which was really hard because they were so cute! But I just had WAY too many and I needed other items that I didn't get.

I was a little irritated at how bad the pictures turned out. I got a ton of pics but most of them were too blurry to post...urgh. These are the few that were post-able.
