Gabriel's Blessing

Gabriel was blessed on July 5th 2009 by his dad. It was so nice that everyone could come down for his blessing. Gabie looks so handsome and adorable in his outfit (especially with the hat!)

4th of July

Gabriel's blessing happened to land on 4th of July, and all of my family was able to come out! It was the first time we have all been together in several years! Unfortunately I didn't get a picture of the whole family together but I tried to get at least on picture of everyone. Erik's parents and sister also came out. It was a crazy mad house during the day with so many people in our house but my uncle was kind enough to let most of the crowd stay at his place (and use his pool!). Everyone enjoyed seeing Gabriel (for Lisa, Eric, Michael and Cindy it was the first time) and Gabriel was so good to put up with being passed around like a football (I think he liked the attention!).

Father's Day

It was Erik's first "real" father's day last month. So I made him a cake (didn't turn out as pretty as I hoped) and got him some presents. Erik is such a good daddy!
