Gabie Hear, Gabie Do

So cute! First week of March.

"Dahd!"

Gabriel's first word! That's what he declares whenever Erik walks in the room. He's been babbling for quite some time now and we weren't sure what we could put down for his first word, but we're sure now because Gabe seems to know when to use it, and we know that he knows who "daddy" is. I'll ask Gabe: "where's dad?" and he'll look at Erik and smile and say "dahd". So cute! He also says "hi" occasionally but its not very clear.

Another thing Gabe has learned to do is give kisses! So sweet! I love being his mommy.

Stylin' Gabe

I've been having a lot of fun sewing little outfits for Gabe. I altered the pattern I used for Gabe's birthday outfit to make these cute army/hunting overalls:

Whenever I think I'm sure Gabe has gone off to ruin/make messes/get into trouble, I find him quietly and attentively flipping through his books. It seems to be his favorite activity, for now. I hope he keeps this up well into his teenage years! Smart little guy!
